October autumn days are filled with wilder weather, with heavier rain and winds coming in. There are still some sunny days though, and the beautiful red, gold and amber autumn leaf colours amaze us with their variety. The gorgeous leaf displays make up for there being fewer flowers around as most plants reach the end of their flowering period.
