It’s been a beautiful summer in England, we’ve enjoyed record-breaking temperatures, plenty of sunshine and long hot summer days and nights. Along with some days of unexpected but needed rainfall, it has all combined to create an amazing growing season. Now in late August, while gardens are looking more green and less colourful, the attention is moving to late summer perennials to give us flowering colour into autumn.
Here are some highlights of beautiful flowers and plants we have enjoyed seeing in the gardens this summer
Good time to...

Keep watering all areas of your garden - whether pots, containers, flowerbeds and lawn
