We are very happy with the work Toby has done to our back garden. His design maximises the potential of the space, and creates an environment that exceeds what we thought would be possible with our budget. This is because Toby has an excellent technical knowledge of plants and planting, so he is able create a bespoke area that suits an individual's needs and tastes. His balanced use of colour and texture really is impressive in our garden and will continue to be so throughout the year thanks to Toby's attention to detail. He also proved to be highly adaptable to changes in the design as it progressed, whilst maintaining the original vision. The carpenters and electricians he works with are really very good indeed, so the finishes to aspects such as decking are superb. The work was done efficiently and on time and budget and with bucket loads of enthusiasm, even in torrential down pours! We would have no hesitancy in recommending Toby, even though we usually shy away from doing that sort of thing. We have no reservations at all about that. Toby is a magician, or at the very least a miracle worker! My lovely little city garden, which after all is an extension of the house, was a complete jungle and unusable. To my shame things had been allowed to grow unchecked for a very long time and the weeds were rampant. Along came Toby. I was sceptical, it looked like such a huge and daunting task to me, but when I got home after Toby had been hard at work all day the place was absolutely transformed. It was as if a completely new garden had been conjured up and placed over the top of mine. I just couldn’t believe it, I was absolutely over the moon, and the magic has lasted too.
